Some Beer drinkers were upset that John Kerry had said (in Switzerland) that the US was a pariah. They were muttering something about how a “commie like Kerry” shouldn’t be allowed to say such things “abroad”.
Waitresses aren’t allowed to point out that Kerry actually shot communists (unlike certain Republican politicians) or that he wasn’t criticizing the US - he’d ACTUALLY been making critical comments about a US Foreign policy that had produced bad results.
